The Wake Up is a morning show brought to you by Tennessee State University’s radio station WTST The Blaze; providing students with the opportunities and experience needed within the Communications and Media field. Particularly for those studying Mass Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting, Production, and etc. The show’s main goal is to Wake Up the college community with the hottest news and gossip along with tunes to groove to every morning in preparation for a productive day. Complimenting our slogan “Your World Your Time”. This will help encourage students of TSU to take action and keep moving forward on their goals. The Wake Up will air Monday through Friday weekly throughout each semester from 8a.m.-10a.m.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Attending Tennessee State University in search higher learning in the production and editing processes of radio, studio, and video. She is also a dancer the TSU’s marching Aristocrat of Bands (Sophisticated Ladies). After she earns her Bachelor’s degree she later plans to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a film writer and director. In the mean time she will continuing studying and enjoy her experiences within all aspects of media and broadcasting.
